IN EVERY SEASON ONE-DAY RETREAT

All ladies are invited to join us to “In Every Season – Finding Your One Thing” one-day retreat. We can lose sight of following where God is leading us. We simply can’t hear Him talking over the din of everything else that fills our day. Let’s focus on choosing just one thing to help us refocus on God.
There will be worship, a devotion, craft, games, a cooking demonstration, and an opportunity to participate in a service project – AND a continental breakfast! This will be a chance to gather with friends – old and new – and be blessed by laughter and good conversation. Cost is $15 and child care is provided for PreK-5th grade.

All women are invited to join us for outdoor adventures as well as the opportunity to connect with other women. There will be several hikes throughout the summer at various locations. BIBLE STUDIES
GOSPEL OF JOHN BIBLE STUDY
DATE: Tuesdays, January 23 – June 11
TIME: 6:15 – 7:45pm
LOCATION: Tigard Campus
COST: $11 (to cover cost of book)
Join us as we study the Gospel of John and learn more about Jesus and his life and ministry. In this study we are going to dive into the seven I AM statements of Jesus mentioned in the Gospel of John and get a better understanding of how Jesus’ words 2,000 years ago are still applicable to the answers we are searching for today.
SEASONS OF LIFE BIBLE STUDY

TIME: 9:30–11:00am
LOCATION: Newberg Campus Downstairs Classroom
Sometimes our lives seem stagnant, that nothing will ever change. Join us as we learn how God can make all things new as Melanie Harrison takes us through a study of God’s marvelous creation and creativity, as well as the seasons of life. You will come away refreshed and renewed. This study is free, and childcare is available with the cost covered through group donations.
PRECEPTS BIBLE STUDY

Join us as we study the book of Ephesians. Chosen in Christ before the foundation of the world, targeted by grace, children of God united in a single family, inheritors, holy, redeemed, forgiven, raised from the dead and seated with Jesus Christ in the heavenlies! How can you not study Ephesians!? Before Paul even hints at how believers should live, he lays a rock-solid foundation: who we are in Christ! If you think you’re just a cog in a machine, if you don’t know your true identity, then this study is for you.
BIBLE STUDY FELLOWSHIP

Women today face a multitude of challenges, like struggles with insecurity, broken relationships, guilt, overwork or loneliness. Countless women have found peace, comfort, hope, security and answers to life’s big questions by exploring God’s Word. As a group member, you will personally study Scripture and answer questions each day. Once a week, you will meet for a small-group discussion of the lesson, hear from a teaching leader how the truths of Scripture can be applied to daily life and receive comprehensive notes on the Scripture passages you studied.
During our group time together there is an opportunity for children ages 0-5 to participate in our Preschool Program. This program gives children a biblical foundation upon which to build a love for God and spiritual matters. Loving, well-trained and committed leaders teach little ones about God and the Bible in age-appropriate ways.
COMMUNITY BIBLE STUDY
DATE: Wednesdays, 9:30 – 11:15 am
LOCATION: Tigard Campus
COST: $35 for study materials
Come see what happens in people’s lives when they discover God through the study of His Word, the Bible. Our classes meet weekly during the school year. Each class participant receives a course book with a commentary and home study questions. We will be starting with the Book of Ephesians, then Ruth and Samuel. Each week, you’ll participate in small group discussions and a large group teaching. From time to time, fellowship meals will provide special times of sharing and relationship building within the class. There is also a Children’s Program offered for ages 0 to 9 years old.

Newberg MOPS (Mothers of Preschoolers)

The Newberg MOPS groups really focuses on making moms feel special, welcomed and loved. It is a mom’s group with speakers, food, coffee and childcare. You’ll get to have open, honest conversations with other moms who understand the joys and frustrations of motherhood and build lasting relationships. Learn more here.
