SERVE OPPORTUNITIES

Serving in a ministry is finding an opportunity to serve inside the walls of NCC. Jesus was the ultimate example of what it means to be a servant. It is an important next step in our relationship with Him. Here are a few of the different teams needing volunteers.

SERVE ON A MINISTRY TEAM

TEAMS AT NCC

It takes everyone working together and serving to meet the needs of everyone attending. If there is an opportunity listed below that interests you, click the button and let us know you would like more information about the joining team.

GUEST SERVICES TEAM

Guest services team is a great way to demonstrate Christ-like love and kindness. Our guest services volunteers make sure everyone at NCC feels warmly welcomed and received. Guest services include greeters, ushers, information kiosks, coffee, and parking ministry.

PRAYER TEAM

Prayer is the foundation of everything we do at NCC. The prayer team is a wonderful way to do some of the most meaningful work in the Church. It is also one of the most rewarding teams because you get to witness God’s work in people’s heart. It is an honor to point people to Jesus as savior or healer or deliverer.

PRODUCTION TEAM

The NCC Production Team creates an environment conducive to encountering God’s presence. The production team operates cameras, lighting, video and audio so that everyone can experience meaningful worship. No experience required. Full training and support will be given for all of the production roles, and experienced staff is always around to offer assistance.

WORSHIP TEAM

The purpose of the worship team is to draw people closer to Jesus through music during our weekend services. The people on this team use their gifts of playing instruments and singing to create an environment that encourages the Church in its faith and reminds us to respond to what Jesus has done and is doing in our lives right now. We believe that each person on the worship team can be a leader, regardless of their role.

QUEST KIDS TEAM

Quest Kids is the place for kids to experience Jesus and learn to love like Him. Our volunteers share the love of Jesus with the families who visit NCC each week by providing a safe and engaging environment when they feel welcomed and loved. We have several roles to choose from birth through 5th grade.

NCC | STUDENTS

NCC | Students is a ministry that believes in the power of the next generation and wants to help students grow their faith and deepen their walk with Jesus while also developing their leadership, passions, and influence. We are looking for dedicated leaders who are interested in investing in the next generation and play a vital role in growing this ministry.

SPECIAL NEEDS TEAM

The Special Needs ministry at NCC plays a vital role in creating a warm and inclusive space for those in our community who may be living with a disability. Our primary aim is to foster an environment where everyone, regardless of their abilities or challenges, can find meaningful connections, grow in their faith, and experience the power of Jesus’ love.

What Happens When I Sign Up?

GriefShare seminars and support groups are led by people who understand what you are going through and want to help. You’ll gain access to valuable GriefShare resources to help you recover from your loss and look forward to rebuilding your life.

Will Serving On a Team Light My Badge On the NCC App?

Each time your GriefShare group meets, you will watch a video seminar featuring top experts on grief and recovery subjects. These videos are produced in an interesting television magazine format featuring expert interviews, real-life case studies, dramatic reenactments, and on-location video.

How Often Would I be Asked to Serve?

After viewing the video, you and the other group members will spend time as a support group, discussing what was presented in that week’s video seminar and what is going on in your lives.

What if I Do Not Have Experience?

During the week you will have the opportunity to use your workbook for further personal study of the grieving process and to help sort out your emotions through journaling. Your group will spend time discussing questions and comments from the workbook study.

Do you have questions about serving at NCC?
